I didnt listen and search for his music before but after i went to crobar on 18th june 2004 when he played for Sasha....I was amazed by his style.

What i liked the most...he kinda enjoys when he plays.

Do You think the same or I am an exception.

Anyone seen him at other parties? :?:

#210430Post 9 of 43

Go to see Luke Fair show...he;s crazy behind decks...and this freak house he plays is awesome.!!!

#210451Post 10 of 43

Shame that he seldom makes it over to the UK.

The mixes and productions I've heard from Luke so far have been top notch.

#210452Post 11 of 43

i saw him for the 2nd time in a year last niths and thought he was amazing. this before i got my drinking goin too hehe.

#210470Post 12 of 43

i heard luke did some interesting things after that crobar party, if i remember correctly he ended up throwing a couple records out of his hotel window as he was displeased with them. look what happens when you start hanging out with sasha too much

have seen luke twice, once opening for digweed (must say that was quite the mindblowing evening) and once in his own right and he was great each time. love how his style is so unique as oppossed to most others. his productions are amazing as well. i think i can listen to 'ultraviolet' 20 times a day for the next 10 years and still love it as much as i do now.

#210485Post 13 of 43

Heh...I almost thought I was already so drunk I didnt notice he was throwing lps ..but it was at the hotel as you've mentioned..Anyways...throwing records became very popular lately..in any form its trendy I think hehe

I really enjoyed almost everything I have gotten my hands on from this guy. He just keeps impressing me and growing into a world class DJ. I haven't seen this guy play yet, but I am sure I would be impressed. Keep up the great work!!!

Try dl His live set at Tonic Rochester on proton radio....Ive been there at crobar and he blew my mind with his house selection!!!

My favourites are :

Ciudad Feliz - Window Glass Dr Kucho - Mac In Touch

I think he takes over after Erick Morillo if E wont do anything soon :)

#215382Post 36 of 43

I am proud he is Canadian, best talent to come out of Ontario since Max Graham. His spring promo is still one of my favs. Last time I saw hiw was with James Zabiela in May at System Sounbar, Toronto and he tore it up. Real nice guy and he loves what he does, it shows.

If anyone plans to see him open for Sasha and gets a chance to chat with him I would love to know what Cocteau Twins breaks remix he has been playing.

#215493Post 39 of 43

I'm sure if you email him, he will respond, he is cool like that. luke@lukefair.com

Damn Sasha has kept Luke away from Toronto for way to long. From what I've heard the Dallas gig has been the best one yet for the Involver tour. Nice to hear most everyone is getting down to the trippy disco shit. luke.
