Have a good one folks.

The wifey and I have a really nice dinner last night at a really nice restaurant. She had a gift card from her birthday. We just got a "Trader Joe's" here - near where we live, which is great because they have a decent wine selection for really cheap, which she wanted to take to the restaurant. We were supposed to go to this speak easy type bar that has a password and what not after, but we both decided to go home instead, which ended up being more fun anyway. I streamed "Tomorrowland" live on our TV before realizing the music was mostly crap, although DJ Snake was kind of entertaining. Watched Nacho Libre on Netflix, and called it a night :).

Re: Tgis

 as new parents we rarely get a night out alone, and just spending any time together without baby is pretty much special. You will understand one day when you are a parent.

We are taking a cruise soon though, and are saving for that.

I must have missed the part about your weekend plans?

Must be hard getting a babysitter when you're on minimum wage.

We were supposed to be traveling alot this summer, not a cruise, but we were going to share a catamaran with 3 other couples....hub's work schedule became crucial at just the wrong time. :|

 nice try there Zover, but there's no way I'm discussing my financials on MS. But I will say, I will never have to be concerned about money.

Really? You can't take the wife out to anywhere better than Trader Joe. Sounds like hard up in my book!

Re: Tgis

Had an awesome weekend, jamming with the band, and writing a short article.

I'm still amazed how many average DJ's there are in the Friday night pub scenes around Sydney. Playing remixes of top 40. I believe it's a tactic to buy more drinks.

Happy weekend all. .

Re: Tgis

Fridays are going to become the new Saturday for me soon, Thursdays will be the new Friday. Legislation in the UK changed this month, so now everyone can apply for flexible working. I'm going to work one hour more Monday to Thursday and have every Friday off work.

Re: Tgis

Switch your computer fo and take your wife somewhere nice.
One minute you say you'll never have to worry about $$, 2 posts later you say you're saving so you can go somewhere in September. Which is it? Lol. You won't discuss your finances here? Fair enough but I can recall several instances of you bragging about your earnings on this board.

Did you and "wifey" (add that to your meeting chicks thread) have a good night at the meetup you arranged on here?
