wow. I saw him last night and I'm still shaking my head in disbelief. I try not to complain like this, but I'm going to: I can't believe that music that good was only heard by 12 people. But he seemed to still have fun, and I know I did, so complaint over. He told me that he thinks that he is going to have a gig with Anthony Pappa in New York this summer (which doesn't happen too much because they have different management). You New York folks please help me monitor, because that would be good cause for a trip up there! I've only seen him live either solo or with Mara. He was ON. Much better than that Jan Gilbey/Pappa promo floating around would have you believe.

no, he didn't know ... he said that they were going to try to do it in the next few months. last time I saw anthony pappa, it was at centrofly. I honestly don't know where they'd spin.

I think that the last time he (Pappa) was in NYC was at Ikon (Exit) with Godskitchen being the promoters. . . I heard that it was pretty empty the whole night . I think he should spin at Spirit cuz it's way smaller than Ikon. Haven't seen Pappa in about 3 years. . . would love to catch his show next time he is in the area.

james holden. I've never seen him headline. I'm going to be in town for my boy's work party, so I'm hoping that I'll get to go out for music at least one night.

Definately top class producer too bad to hear only 12 ppl where in for someone like him ... Pappa is also top quality ..just for the fact that he won the dmc dj contest when he was 15 :shock: shows how technical he can get brilliant indeed

combination of poor promotion and the fact that DJ Marky was across the street at a Liquified event -- re why there were so few people there.
