Re: Sasha - Fundacion CD (more information)
I have it for a couple of days now and must say it's pretty dissapointing :? The best word to describe it is "boring". The mix lacks concept and flow imo. Fundacion is nowhere near Involver for me
the stuff that everybody else seems to be migrating over to now
if you heard the villalobos special thats just the ticket for me
Unfortunately I'm one of few not heading in that direction. I'm not completely migrating away from proggy but am definately listening to more of a variety. I'm not fucked up enuff to listen to tech house 24/7. May I recommend www.bijoubreaks.com!
As for Sasha, after listening to the involved Orlando set at home and in my car, I'm starting to think wtf was I on that night. All I hear is static/distortion between transitions, I can barely hear him mixing the next track. I'll I get is a mind fuck. Kinda like putting ketchup on everything you chew. Involver was a great cd and I look forward to owning fundacion, but Sasha live is something entirely different.

There is a promo copy floating around soulseek and trancetraffic that is 1h17min long.I'm not sure how to put into words but I like what I'm hearing. I would have to agree though it is on the side of minimal/electro side of house.

Then its on my side of house
Re: Sasha - Fundacion CD (more information)
I'm guessing its similiar to his Involved Orlando set from this year, which I really didn't like? Found it plodded along...
Why does Sasha always split opinion right down the middle?

Re: Sasha - Fundacion CD (more information)
I just got ma hands on a promo copy from the internet, but it's the same t/l posted every where, so i think it's the fundacion CD, just been listening to it 2day @ work so i still didn't develop an opinion about it, will give a go when i go home on proper sound speaker and will let ya know..but till now I'm not impressed.
Re: Sasha - Fundacion CD (more information)
yeah, i know this is trendy to say, but his orlando/involved set and his recent essential mix did absolutely nothing for me.
really since involver TBH he has really done nothing that has excited me, so i think this will prolly be the first sasha cd release since ne2 that i will not be buying.
oh well, know he's still the Man Like and has more talent in his little finger than i have in my whole body etc, just not feeling it . . .
