where i'm from, may 1st is labour day, usualy it a free from work day but unfortunately this year its on sunday, so we dont get any extra day off we usualy go for trips or picnics on labour day , its the first ocasion of the year to go out and spend some time in the nature, enjoy the nice weather this year i'm planing to go on a trip to the mountains near by, fish some, grab some beers and just chill with my friends do you celebrate labour day?

In the States, it's the first Monday of September. Pretty much just a day off from work. Maybe go to the beach with some friends and usually there is some sort of big Labour Day party with some DJ(s) doing it big at the clubs in NY.

I usually climb a tree on labor day, since the closest beach is 700 miles away :evil:

Yea we celebrate it here, but because it falls no a Sunday the Monday is automatically a public holiday too.
