For DJing, or for archiving your vinyl collection to digital?
If you are going to be archiving your vinyl, then you want a moving coil cartridge. They're way more expensive but the sound quality is much better.

Ortofon is the brand I've always used.
Moving coil cartridges are VERY expensive. You'll probably want to find the most affordable model, which I think is the MC-1 Turbo. Runs $200 I think? It will still be much more accurate than a DJ stylus.
Moving Coils can easily cost more than $5000 for the high end stuff. I've seen some that are $15,000.
