He's one of the most fun dj's Mixing proper House with proper Prog House and even Acid House. He brings everyone together under what ever roof he plays at. Not too many dj's can do this IMO

Sorrry to bring Danny Howells back up but I got to say...
Absolutely agree... he always puts it up together to give the best...
The few times he has come to Lima, he always rocks the place
Ahh, how I miss Danny Howells at Arc...
I agree, though, Howells and Lee Burridge are one of the few DJ's who can mixes genres seamlessly.
howellssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss :Naughty:
Can't wait to see Howells Vs Hernan C. here in L.A 4th of July!
:Bingo:  :Bingo:

very good point!
and you going to Sasha as well, right? should be 2 kick ass events!
I've heard danny live twice so far and I must tell you he's one of the DJs who cal really entertain me. live @ arc, tlv, fuse or canberra are the best examples. excellent technique, dynamic mixing, incredible turnabouts or even right abouts, solid tracks, free of cheeze ones  what I do think danny is at the moment the best active house DJ :Bingo: /altough I've just started downloading live @ stalker and must admit the first half an hour is rather wearisome. warm-up is warm-up but I got the feeling as if I was listening to frankie knuckles twenty years ago  /
Ya, I agree. I saw danny last August and by the end of the night I couldn't even stand in the elevator on the way up to the room  I def. agree that if u go see danny your in for a good night of music... :Bingo: :Bingo:
Howells rules, except his hour of the Essential Mix two weeks ago. That was the worst mix I've heard from him in my entire life.
BTW, don't apologize, if it was another thread about Sasha, then you would need to apologize.
danny howells is a dj i like, but i got to have a lot of his sets before i can find one really good anyway he"s no where near sasha or digweed
I've never seen him live, but I've heard mostly good things from people who have. His sets rock, and for that reason, I may go see him when he comes in town. :Bingo:
he's the master of time and space!

Don't apologise mate, it's good to see a thread about someone other than Sasha. I think Howells is a great dj. His Nubreed cd is really good. I am just pissed I missed him during WMC. Wont make that mistake again.

I was gonna bring that up too, in refrence to Foreks comments. I agree with all of that normally, but the Madonna bootleg he played at Homelands I really didn't like! Spose he 'cheesed' it up for radio but the hour that wasnt live was awesome. Loved the techier stuff he played.
Also thort hernan cattaneo's homelands set was superb, really enjoyed it, much better than the year before i thought.
Danny Howells knows how to enjoy the crowd, this guy is a partyanimal

without a doubt, he enjoys what he does so much.. master of mixing head bobbin house & techyness together.. :Bingo:
anyway he"s no where near sasha or digweed
Quite a different style to Sasha and Diggers - but overall I disagree. I think he's as good as either of them.
Absolutely A grade the whole way. Undoubtedly the most fun I've ever had on a dancefloor.

I agree ... absolutely different style ... I've never experienced a spiritual, transcendent moment with dannyFUCKINGhowells, but his nights never fail to provide get your knees up FUN!!!
He's great live. He bring tons of energy to the place, always gets everybody shakin their asses! :JamesBro:
Howells is one of my favourites. Never Dissapoints. More of his sets MS. PLEASE.
you should be happy with whats up today
agree with all the pro-danny stuff said above.
my favorite part of a danny night is -- and he, of course, doesn't do this every set -- when he gets into playing just flat-out techno. i've only seen him do it twice, and for an hour or so at a time, but i have never seen a club go apesh%t like those two times, fabric, twilo, etc. included.
I just hope Howells rocks the house the 3rd of July here in Miami, at least he did it Peru in April. :Bingo:
danny howells is a dj i like, but i got to have a lot of his sets before i can find one really good anyway he"s no where near sasha or digweed
your right -- cuz neither sasha nor digweed spin 12 hour sets, from warmup to closing.

you just gotta dig the warmup sound, that was howells ny style house that he patented at arc. Ask him and he'll say his total approach to djing has changed since his residency at arc.
now keep in mind if you ask him a questiion make sure there is someone else with you to help understand because he has one of the thickest fucking british accents i have ever heard!!!
he has one of the thickest fucking british accents i have ever heard!!!
