Ordered this within an hour of it being announced, £14.49 delivered to my door is a ridiculous price for what you get, kudos to Digweed for continuing this series.

i still buy cds, personally i think they sound better then the 320 dl on beatport. and its nice to have the whole package

i think its going to be hard to top the London release. so far that one is still the number one "live in" for me

I'm a CD junkie at heart. I just prefer being able to skip tracks, or just listen to one particular track at a time. Can't do that with a 75 min continuous mix.

that snippet aint gonna sell me on that. like i said before will be a real tall order to top London, and the fact that this is two disks each of two different sets its almost hard to compare.

it sure seems like we may never see another 4 cd set of one show again.....London may be the only one :(

John Digweed will release a four-disc mix called Live In Argentina on December 9th.[I]

It's the fourth edition in Digweed's [I]Live In... series, following previous selections from Cordoba, London and Slovenia. As with those outings, [I]Live In Argentina will see release on Digweed's own [URL="http://www.residentadvisor.net/record-label.aspx?id=1"]Bedrock Records[/URL]. The mix is comprised of recordings from shows the UK selector played in Rosario and Buenos Aires in September this year—the two gigs attracted a combined crowd of 14,500 and saw Digweed play for more than 12 hours. If the Live series continues (and I can't see why it won't) I'd expect another 4 x CD set from a single date at some point.

Given this is from the same box of music, best to trust Diggers judgement on what sounds best here.

its gonna be just like a transitions radio show but 80min mix from different venues in the same area

my friend that was at all the shows in argentina isn't looking forward to this at all...saying it will do NO justice for vibe/atmosphere of those nights!

upon reading the comments.... kind of let down in what this boxset is. would have preferred to have 4 cd's from a single set in order to build the atmosphere and make it more special.

Can't help thinking that you just can't please people. If JD released 5 hours from Vagabond, you'd want 8 hours.If he released 8 hours, you'd want 12. If he released 12 there would be complaints that it wasn't from WMC

The guy has released/will have released 12 cd's of music live from a club in the past 15 months, does a weekly show etc, but that doesnt seem to be enough for some people.

People get more music from Diggers compared to any other credible DJ out there .. yet still there's grumbles :D

I remember a time when you had to wait for a GU once every few years plus the odd essential mix broadcast !

How times have changed .. my drive is rammed with more music than I could ever hope to listen to ... it's nice to put a CD on and have some decent packaging to go with it.

The Slovenia CD was produced with some of the comments here in mind about wanting a real peak time banger, although some people couldn't handle CD2 :wtf:

London came out as 4 CDs because people wanted a longer set :Cheerz:

Cordoba still sounds great to these ears and has endured with time :RightOn:

I agree... and on top of all that he does it at relatively affordable prices! I got Cordoba as an mp3 download from amazon and ordered the rest (versus,Slovenia,London+ 2 t-shirts) from Bedrock and all of it was probably around $100 shipped. That's a lot of amazing music for that price..
