Planning a Europe trip in Oct.
Oct 10 Paris Oct 18 - 20 Amsterdam Dance Event Oct 25 New York
Those are my locked-in dates.
I'm deciding where to go after ADE for about a week before I return to NY.
Copenhagen? Stockholm (already been there once, not sure if there will be more to do a second time)? Prague? Barcelona?
Somewhere I can get to from Amsterdam, and won't be too prohibitive to get a ticket back to NY.
I know next to nothing about Europe, some help or recommendations will be great.

What do you like? If you like the beaches, then Italy or Spain would be a good choice. If you like the mountains, hiking etc. , Switzerland or Austria, I personally recommend Interlaken. Very nice place. If you like art and history, Italy would be a good choice. One of my favorite cities is Venice. Florence is also an awesome place to visit. If you don't wanna go that far, Belgium also worth a visit. Bruges is a really nice town with good beers, chocolate factories. And there is London, which is also many tourists top choice. These are my opinions, I've been to 13 EU countries several times, but I'm very far from knowing every place. Btw I'm sitting in my hotel room in Phuket at the moment, any recommendations, where to go? :D

barcelona and prague are both great! check out [url="http://www.lonelyplanet.com"]Lonely Planet Travel Guides and Travel Information[/url] you can find out things to do, see, eat, places to stay, best way to get to and from for any country and city! i've been to europe 4 times total. 17 countries and 6 months over the 4 trips. i'd be happy to give you my .02 cents on any of it!

Definitely Venice & Florence if you hit Italy .. plus Belgium is pretty good too if you like food/chocoate.
Is this a music trip or a sight seeing one Feather ?
What are your interests in terms of art/museums etc.

Like unrecogniseduser said me and him are in Vienna and would gladly show you around. Also we have a couple of great clubs with at least a good night once a month.

I booked my return flight from Stockholm, will probably do something simple like Copenhagen between Amsterdam and Stockholm.
Prague, Belgium, Venice, etc feels like another European trip I need to think about seriously and organize properly :lol:

The music part of the trip will be ADE, my birthday is on Oct 19 so I'll be at the Bedrock night on Oct 18! The rest is of course sightseeing and stuff. I do love museums and art.
I just did Berlin 2 months ago, did Tresor, Watergate, and Berghain. I would give Tresor and Watergate a miss but Berghain was just absolutely amazing, nothing like it.
