Hi everyone!!! : )

I am so conflicted right now. We're having a music festival in Toronto this weekend called Veld. veldmusicfestival.com I wasn't planning on going as I only want to go on the Sunday but they aren't selling one day passes this year. Bummer. So then planned to be out of the city but now have to work Sat. Do I spend $200 to go on the Sunday to see Digweed for an hour and a half set or not???? I know there are other acts I'd like to see too but he's the main. Grrr....He's not been here since May 2012 and don't think he'll be back till next year. This is bumming me out so bad. Lol! :roll:

Always do Pickle! But....I haven't been to a club in two months or so, so would have spent at least 4 times that if I were doing my usual every weekend clubbing. So I should just splurge and go! : ) Thanks MS! ; )

Was thinking about that but they've made it nearly impossible to take the damn wristband off! : / You have to trade in your ticket for a wristband before the event.

$200 for 1.5hrs of Digweed at a festival, I wouldn't bother.

You're better off having a BBQ in the backyard and blast Slovenia for 4hrs :lol:

1.5 is too short of him.. I've seen it twice at EDC 2012/2013 and both times I felt like it was a bit rushed. Its still a lot of fun because he doesn't spent any time warming the crowd up and goes for it from the get go.. kind of like his Slovenia CDs. I am glad he did the after party thing this year.. it was way better that way.

The bummer with festival sets is (i) they are short and (ii) sometimes the other DJs are terrible, just spotted the rest of the list for veld.

Lol!!! You guys are funny. But yes....the lineup is crap. I f'n wish Diggers were doing an afterparty but that's prob not gonna happen. I'm still friggen waffling about the isssue and gotta make up my mind today!

Alrighty....I've come to my decision after looking at videos of last years Veld and how crowded and packed it is. I'm gonna save my $200 plus the $100 or so I would spend on taxi's and beers and save it for a trip to Montreal when he's there or Detroit next March. F that shit!!! Very sad to be missing him though!

John will be in Montreal probably around October (I've heard) I thought about going to Veld too, but instead I'm gonna use that money to go see Guy J's sunset boat party in September.

That would be really sweet. At Stereo too I'm sure! Better start saving my pennies! : ) So I did end up going to Veld. Someone sold me their wristband for the second day which they couldn't attend for $75. Still pricey but I could deal with that. Gotta say, an hour and a half of Diggers is just a massive tease which leaves one unfulfilled! It was good and fun but so damn short. He also looked REALLY tired. Guessing he didn't get much sleep because of the after party in New York. Also, remind me never to go to a festival like that again, I felt like a granny!!! Plus I went on my own so that was a bit weird! : )

Yep, I hung around for about an hour of Tenaglia. Tbh....when I left the tent and faced the open end with the sunlight coming in, I saw all of the dust floating around in the air. It was super thick from the dirt ground being disturbed. So I hung just outside the tent. Was a good set. Left as I didn't want to stumble around in the dark trying to figure out how to get out of there. : )
