Yo what's up. I just wanted a general consensus on which Plastikman album is the best. From what I heard sheet one is good. I heard Closer and thought it was pretty good, especially that track Disconnect. Anways, let me know what you guys think. Happy Post 4.20 for all the tru stoners bakin it up today cause they missed it yesterday 4.21! hahah i'm so high right now....

Man thats a really hard one! I think all of his albums and mix cds are one of a kind but the ones I specialy like are Artifaks, Closer to the edit and Decks, efx & 909.

I think I've got to get in on this...Ritchie Hawtin IMO is a better producer as Plastikman than any of his decks-efx work. The Plastikman trilogy was completed nicely with the release of Artifaks B.C. This is probably his most intricate work, where every sound is placed perfectly, and the beats are so creative, no 4 x 4, no constant breakbeat, just a perfect intertwining harmony of sound, atmoshpere, and acid! Musik was great as well, and who can forget the cover of Sheet One? Ever heard of the Texas man who got busted? Police thought he was a acid dealer carrying around Sheet One. That would be some fucked up shit.
Its really hard to pick one CD over the other. Each one is a compilation in a series of works, which builds of the last. To me, Hawtin is the man and the talent!

Musik, hands down the best plastikman cd. Sheet one is a very close 2nd.

I like Sheet One the best. Musik is good. If I'm in the right mood, some of the tracks on Consumed are [i]so [/i]deep. If you have a system with good bass they will blow you away.

Prog-heads should check out his FUSE - Dimension Intrusion album. Mantrax is one of the greatest prog/trance tracks ever.

Agreed. That is one of my favorite cds. But they asked my favorite plastikman cd. The fuse cd is amazing.
