Re: James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) Dead at age 51

Very sad, had always hoped for another series or a film.

His portrayal of T ranks up there with the finest acting on screen or tv.

And 51 is no age at all to go :(

So young still, so talented.

Re: James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) Dead at age 51

Evidently everyone in this thread except you. He's a very talented actor indeed. Although he had a minor role in Crimson Tide as well, after reaching what he became in the Soprano's, it was good to watch him again in Crimson Tide.

Sad indeed.

Re: James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) Dead at age 51

Just because he is a talented actor doesn't make him worthy of my sadness.

"An actor is a guy who, if you ain't talking about him, he ain't listening!

Re: James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) Dead at age 51

At least I didn't waste my time watching him which is more caring than clicking a reply!

Re: James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) Dead at age 51

^^WTF is your problem? alot of people liked the guy, he died, its sad. I dont get it.

Re: James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) Dead at age 51

See, your problem is that you care about "Alot of people", instead of thinking for yourself. He died! ok. Lots of people die

Re: James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) Dead at age 51

^^ Try watching the sopranos yourself & then comment. Like people have already said its one of the best performances ever.

Re: James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) Dead at age 51

Dude if you dont have anything to say, please don't open this thread. A lot of people who liked him feel bad and are mourning. Would you walk into a funeral in your city and be careless with your attitude?

Re: James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) Dead at age 51

Havent posted in a while, sorry for the interruption but that is the most classless thing ever. Why open up a thread about someone you obviously dont care about, see that people are mourning and then write that? Talk about a waste.

R.I.P. he was one of the most genuous actors around.

Re: James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) Dead at age 51

We just try to remember the people who did some good things in life, people who gave us great moments with his talents, music, art, movies, sport, etc, and one way or another, we enjoy with them, reading a book, watching a film, listening a song or whatever, Its simple, Its like a little tribute to the people who did something important in life. just that.

Re: James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) Dead at age 51

Alexudis, very classy. In a thread paying respects to someone who has passed, you find a way to be disrespectful. If you don't care, that is your prerogative, but have some consideration for the people that do.

A very talented man who will be missed....RIP James :(

Re: James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) Dead at age 51

Only saw bits and pieces of the show, this guy was the backbone of the show and absolutely nailed the part...he was made for that role.

He also came from relatively humble beginnings from NJ.

Maybe from your experience, absolutely not from mine. An actor is someone who is an observer in life and usually a damn good listener. Otherwise their acting is typically not relevant. But yah, there are bad eggs in every industry.

RIP James Gandolfini indeed. It'll be a 'The Sopranos' themed weekend for me!
