Increasingly prolific Ann Arbor native [URL="https://soundcloud.com/[url="]Shigeto[/URL] has announced he will drop a new LP called [I]No Better Time Than Now[/I] via [URL="http://ghostly.com/"]Ghostly[/URL] this August, sharing a stream of the record's engrossing first single in the process. While the full details of the upcoming album have yet to surface, [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=780"]Shigeto[/url]'s "Detroit Part 1" is an unmistakably jazz-flavored instrumental which shuffles along with live percussion and picks up a gorgeous melodic run of thumb-piano plucks during its second half. The upcoming [I]No Better Time Than Now[/I] LP is set to drop on August 20, but before then, it appears Ghostly will release "Detroit Part 1" as a standalone 12" on June 17.
