I'm sure they still are .. if anything their sounds are a lot different these days.
Sasha is going for more down tempo indie nu disco route at times with his Never Say Never / Involv3r sound ... although apparently he was banging it out harder at Ministry last night apparently. Diggers is more underground and hits his unleash hell sound at some later on, whereas Sasha has been playing the Hot Chip soon late on.
They seem to be linked to different Djs, promoters and clubs in terms of appearances too - Sasha's been playing low key intimate affairs, Diggers playing all across the planet in a lot of underground clubs or banging it out with the likes of Carl Cox at the big places.
I'm sure they will come together musically at some point, but if you compare James Teej to Maxime Dangles as an example of extremes, the LNoE and Bedrock sounds are far more different.
I'd probably say they needed to play the likes of Space together - their 7 x hours in 2009 was a classic. Sasha was heads down going at is Space Discoteca style and Diggers hitting summer vibe at times late on.

yeah..their sounds are a lot different these days...Sasha is more on the housey side,Diggers is more on the techy..that's why i think if they play together their set should not be back2back,but one after the other - first hour Sasha,second hour Digweed and so on..

Their sound would never work together now. Gone are the NE days. I would imagine Digweed warming up, Sasha taking over, then Vortex Digweed and they close with a B2B and some old tracks.

I think a lot of us are aware their styles have diverged quite a bit, but as Simonr says look at their respective labels and the sounds coming out on them.
its nice to entertain the thought that they'll get together again...
I am sure they still have plenty of tracks between them to give us magic sets

All that maters is they are still bad ass. its not like any of us are going out to have a beer with them so it does not matter. i dont understand why people have to go there just appreciate what they did for the music we love, stop looking back and look forward

in an interview before his gig at roxy prague this saturday (will be there:RockOn:) sasha said, that a collaboration with John (or James Zabiela) is a history for him ...

When did they last play together? By any chance was it the Warehouse Project in Manchester, late 2010? When Sasha was late/a mess, allegedly? (If memory serves...)

It would be cool to have a nice new live set to download of them playing together....they do something just a little bit different when the play together.
