I guess Hawtin doesn't much care about any of the pseudo celeb, cooll 8-bit atari tattos on the neck, or playboy models hes banging and just thought he could do a good laptop set with him. Hawtin along with Diggers I think "keep it real", "kick it old skool" and maybe think he might have some talent to be worth doing a live set with.

That set sounded pretty cool even from the crowd recording and I wouldn't mind hearing a line recording if it became available.

Caught a brief clip of this on our national broadcaster CBC. This particular show was highlighted in their SXSW news piece since they're both Canadians. Heck I think the news video editor just sourced his clip from this youtube video... they look awfully similar
