Re: Internet Detox

I'm sort of cold-turkeying from medications, at the moment. I'm still doing fine but I know from experience that it'll get scary soon. But I'm tired to be an emotionless wreck.

Re: Internet Detox

hard to quit the internet...its useful in daily life for work and personal tasks.

In saying that I quit smoking and hardly drink (things that are not conducive to good health or productivity), started going to the gym and back into football (the one where the use their feet) and feel worse for it.

quit social media..not the internet.....actually you will find that the time you dont spend on social media will be quickly replaced with time looking at the stuff in the weird part of youtube..or looking at Albanian 2nd division squads.

Re: Internet Detox

fried a modem a few weeks back and picked up a book in the interim while it was being attended to. it was nice to dust the cobwebs off my somewhat dormant imagination and lose myself in literature again.

Re: Internet Detox

I'm addicted to the internet although I did make a conscious effort to use it less when I was at Hua Hin beach in Feb. Felt nice but cos I was at the beach. Can't imagine being off the internet at home.

In fact my internet distraction is turning into a problem :( Sometimes I can't even watch a TV show or movie at home without going to the second screen.
