I think I work with same kind of people. They probably think I am weird. But I look at it this way I don't have to listen to there dumbass conversations about shit I could care less about. Most of the people I work with are annoying. I guess that is the problem with working in a big corpation.

I know what you mean, during the day I am a field engineer for a cable company, and I feel like a fish out of water, especially after coming back from South Beach last week. Though I do work with a good friend who is also in the music industry, he is a hip hop dj, and runs [url]www.tampahiphop.com[/url] , real underground hip hop, not this r n b crap they claim to be hip hop now a days. So it is nice to have some one around me that feels my pain, and to laugh at the people in our office that think they are so funny with their gay stories and little office jokes, lol. on the plus side, being a field engineer, i get to leave the office whenever i need to, and the area i am in charge of includes the gulf beaches.

i like the people at my job, i have my cousin here working PT, so i have someone to bullshit with in a normal way, not being afraid to \crack a foul humor joke or anything. the other partners are all a littel bti older (35+) so i spend a lot of time in the other rooms with the younger ppl.

I work for a Funds company (about 500 employees are working there). I have to deal and know about 50 of them and among these 50 there are two people I hang out with after work once or twice a year. The rest knows nothing from me and I know nothing about them and it?s good like that. :lol: I go to Christmas parties and the Summer party but that?s it. No Bowling with workmates or sponsored weekend short travels for me...I'd rather bang my head against a wall.

Same as that Tomo, i have 3000 ppl on my site. To be honest i'd cross the street to avoid them, i might have to work with the fookers, i defo don';t have to socialize with the boring twats.

Well, I resigned about 3 months ago to switch jobs...the one I left was fucking A. We weren't just colleagues, but also good friends and did a lot together. i really miss them sometimes, but next week they're throwing a personell party to which I am invited to thank me for my services.

My job after that was interviewing travellers at the airport: most of my colleagues were dumb fucking frat boys and sorority girls. Yuck. Quit that shit after 6 weeks.

I work in a chemistry laboratory and have no office to hide in. My work space is a big lab with 6-7 people sharing everything in the room. So i'm forced to be social and at least show some interest. I dont really think its a bad thing but i do wish i had a space of my own.

Foundations. anything concrete involved brings in a tough crowd. mostly wall form setters are the one's i speak of. myself, i stick with the footing end of the deal so my time spent with them is limited. when i say this, im not generalizing the trade, just seems that more often then not, that's the case.

i thought everyone i worked with was weird. so that made me think everyone was weird. but then, i got on a jury duty case for 6 weeks and all my fellow jurors are great people. so now i dont think everyone is weird.
