Is there a way to revert back to the original version or am i stuck with the new version now?

Not really liking it and missing the old Dashboard. All i see is sounds uploaded now whereas before i got that plus all the other stuff favourited and commented on sounds.

Not a change for the better as far as i can see.

I'm running the new beta version too. I don't have any gripes with it. I don't see a way to go back to the old version, and I imagine this is going to be the new version rolled out for everyone eventually, so you might as well get used to it.

Thats what i thought, couldnt see a way to revert back but for me its taken away one of the best features of it the way you used to be able to see what others were liking and recommending.

Might save me a bit of HD space i suppose :lol:

If they can combine the realtime notifications with the old dashboard ill be impressed with that.

Im sticking with the old version for now anyway!

I tried the new version ages ago, I didn't like it either, switched back (although I did give it a week to see if it got better).

I had it about a week also, every now and then a tab at the top would appear saying to refresh the page because a new version of it was available. Thought they might have been adding to it/improving it as people were using it but nothing seemed to change.

Not really liking it at all. It's fun to see what people are commenting on. Good thing there's the option to switch back to Classic Theme.

i like the new graphic style, but dont like the way the comments are on the right hand side and related links are beneath.

as layout goes the old version wins!

When moving from flash to HTML you usually leave a cluttered layout behind (Ie: Beatport) for a cleaner version, not the other way around.

Timed comments are part of Soundcloud as are other people's comments and favorites, it's not Bandcamp (this seems to be the idea).

Give this a listen, pretty much spot on... I logged in today to listen to music and I feel that there are pros and cons to the new format. Correct me if I'm wrong, but does it sound like the quality of the sound has increased a little?

every time a website updates its stuff you get people moaning like fuck...i,ve been using the updated version for quite sometime and tbh i really don't see many changes so i don't get why everyone is complaining about it

For those of you still using the new Soundcloud format and hating it.... STOP! Simply revert back to the old format :lol:

step 1: click on "more: [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/Dsf9t.png[/IMG]

step 2: Click on "switch back to old style" [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/guUFx.png[/IMG]
