yeah, I've cried on the dancefloor a few times. sometimes, like for s&d at wmc last year, yes, I was in an altered state. For S&D at Crobar on Friday night, I was sober, and I had to remind myself to breathe. I started wiping away a tear or two a few tracks into Digweed's first set. One of the reasons I love this scene so much is that it makes me feel alive. Sometimes, that translates to being so overwhelmed with the music that I dance all night and scream and shout. Friday night was so intense (plus there was no room to dance) that all I could do was stand there and let the music wash through me, sometimes smiling like a madwoman, sometimes misty, but mostly hugging myself and standing slackjawed in amazement and shaking my head in disbelief. :)
