I just picked up this badboy at Sam's Club for a killer price of $1188 with a free screen included.

I've got it set up in my bedroom about 12 feet from my white wall projecting a nice 4X7 foot image. I'm using the free screen as a window shade to keep out the daylight since the picture on the wall looks so good. The image quality is amazing! DVDs rock! PS2 rocks! I've been wanting a DLP for a while and now have my own private theater. I could not be happier with this purchase. I can't wait to get Milkdrop going on it. :RightOn:

I watched Gremlins on it last night and it felt like I had travelled back to the eightees to see it in a theater. The picture was MASSIVE! Hmmm... Time travel... Time to watch Back To The Future! ROCK! ROCK! ROCK! ROCK!

I've been using a Promixa LCD projector for a few years now, it's not as sharp and the new generation of projectors, but then again it was free. :D I basically have the world's biggest tv and the image quality is right there with all but the very best conventional big screens (HD is of course better).

Once you go projector, you can't really go back, everything else is tiny.
