so I go to Europe for 4 weeks, come back for a few days, go to St louis for a weekend, come back for two days, then fly to Miami for a week. I'm gone for about a month and a half, and I had no groceries the whole time because my roommate would eat all of my food. i got back in town last week, and he moved out, so I went grocery shopping the other night.
I just got done doing the dishes, and I turned the oven on to get it ready for a pizza. come back into the living room to sit on the couch, and about 5 minutes later I go back into the kitchen and it smells. hoooooooooorrible.
flashback[list]I come home from Europe for a few days before my next trip, and the roommate starts talking to me. "I turned the oven on the other day and it smelled like ass dude. I remember seeing those two mice we've been trying to catch running behind the oven, and I think I found them.[/list]/flashback
I open the oven and it's hot, but nothing out of the ordinary is going on. I close it and walk around toward the back, and i fucking gag. for sure. they aren't in the oven, but they're definitely somewhere OUTSIDE of the actual oven, but inside the heating coil somewhere.
I'm sitting on the front porch right now because the living room and kitching both smell like shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. like burning fur. you can fucking bet your ass that I'm calling the landlord on this one tomorrow. there's no way in hell i'm using tht oven until I either get a new one, and/or have the maintanence dude remove all barbecue that he finds.
I'm going to my basement to play pool for a while.
