How did Damian play? Was it the same as his Future Rebels mixes? Kind of electro-house? Or was it more off the hook stuff from all over house and techno? And how was the man's mixing?

I saw him at the Hallucination party & afterparty, and he was tearing the place up. He was definitely the man of the hour for that party... I think he took a break for a bit to let James Z play, then came back on and played all morning long. Seems like he played until noon. I saw him wandering around at assorted parties throughout the week, and saw him walking down the streets a few times too. Seemed like he was a busy man this year, and every set I heard was definitely better than just about every other set at the conference that I made it to.

Everyone I know that caught him last week said the same thing. He was playing the darkest , sickest shit not only that they heard all week but have heard in a long time. I heard that he did a WMC promo. Sure would be nice to get a hold of it. Anyone???

That dood RAWKD at the phuture party. just straight up tore the place a new one. i didnt leave the side room he was playing in until he got off. i stepped in the main room right after to hear desyn playing some BORING ass jazz, so i went back over and i think one of the guys from tiefschwarz was on, and he went off as well.
really wish i was able to catch damian again during the week but i missed out. hes playing in nyc tom, im actually thinking about skipping out on s & d and catching this guy.

his intro at the hallucination party was incredible. and his set was pretty damn good too. we made it back to the afterparty about 8am where he was getting busy yet again. we stuck around til 10 or so and the place was still going off. had never heard of him til that night/morning but i was very pleased. as far as his style: i'm not good at classifying tunes but i loved every minute of it. dark, chunky, melodic at times, etc etc etc.....

that's awesome, as i love evil and twisted, and i am so sick and tired of cheesy progressive.
but i'm surprised because the two dj mixes he's released this year for the label he runs, crosstown rebels, have been light electro-house with lots of vocals. nice at home, and forward-thinking stuff, but not at all what i would call dark, deep, twisted, or serious stuff.
