Nirvana - Unplugged. Considering how young I was at the time I think I managed to select a pretty "classic" album. I still have it in the collection but I can't say that I listen to it very often.

hmm...I don't remember...it was probably some deep house from the mid 90's..random stuff...or some acid jazz off the ubiquity label...fisrt house real house cd I remeber was MURK, the Singles...great tracks!

Well, for me the first cd that really mattered was "Cream Live 2"...the sleeve and cds were all completely white....

It was a 3 cd set with Oakie, Nick Warren and James Lavelle....the Warren cd was amazing...

Awww yeah! Same here, I was looking through these to see if any one bought this as thier first edm cd.

My Story on my first edm purchase: I was in college, studying at home while listening to the college station. They were playing all kind of edm, and then this one fucking track came on by the orb. So I called the dj at the station (I never heard real edm until this event) and asked him what that song was that he played that just floored me. So he told me it was xxx track by the Orb, and a remix by DJ so'n'so. I just remember the song name and the group the Orb and went to the store that day and bought the cd. I just picked one Orb cd with that song on it. Was dope. :RockOn:

First CD was Kiss 'Destroyer' in 1987. First dance CD was probably Sweet Exorcist CCCD on Warp. I still like the Kiss CD - I consider myself lucky that my first is as respectable as it is considering some of the records I was buying at the time ...

It was Kraftwerk "In The Mix", more then 12 years ago, and I didn't have a CD Player so I was goin' to wealthier colleagues to have a listen of it. I still have it now, still love it for 2 or 3 times during each year, blasting it now on my 2 x 200W deck and I never forgot that once I felt asleep listening to it and woke up afraid at "Metal On Metal" 'coz I dreamed that a train will hit me. Nice memories from my first CD. God bless those Kraftwerk krauts.
