Jesus! That man flying that is an absolute genious.Upside down, backwards and how close to the ground does he get! Something tells me he`s been doing it for quite some time. :Bingo:

My cousin has one but it`s straight up and down for him.

Wow this is crazy never seen this. My cousin also had the same model and like 10 years ago we would play with it, but my cousin and i were never close to doing that.

Very cool video. It makes me wonder if some of these tricks can be done on a real helicopter.

#206731Post 5 of 21

I very much doubt it, if you could fly a helicopter would you want to get so close to the ground.... UPSIDE DOWN!

#206762Post 6 of 21

Usually when you're in a real helicopter and it's flying upside down, you know you're in @#!%ing trouble.

Neat vid indeed.

Thanx for the link algy, I've been looking into buying one of these and now I definetely want one.

#206782Post 9 of 21

there must be some sort of gyro mechanism in there to do that

that is great

#206874Post 10 of 21

great video, the problem with real helicopter is massive acceleration(G's)one would experience doing such tricks.

#206884Post 11 of 21

Thanks for the explanations on why it wouldn't work on a real chopper. I've never thought a model one can do such stunts so I figure maybe it can be applied to real choppers. But apparently not.

#206894Post 12 of 21

That's ridiculous. :HolyShit:

#207008Post 13 of 21

amazing... this guy is genius....

#207019Post 14 of 21

Does he actually touch the ground? When he is spinnin` upside down ...

#207073Post 15 of 21

building models is just an excuse to sniff glue! :Nice: :P

#207082Post 16 of 21

Insanity!!!

I would not be in a real helicopter attempting to mimic

:Hurl:

Actually that's not where the real problem would lie. I mean, yeah, it'd be forceful, but most of the movements aredone along an arch path where lateral force is minimized. The true problem would lie in the real helicopters lack of ability to control it's prop speed with such precise accuracy. It would be impossible for a true helicopter to go from 1200 rpm to 3600 rpm in 25 ms. A model heli can do this though, due to its extremely small components. But, it would be fun to try it.
