Heading to NYC in late November and early December... I'd like to buy NBA tix ASAP so I don't miss the boat. When is the best time to check ticketmaster for them? I.e. how soon do they go on sale?

Re: NBA Tickets

i'd give you info except I buy my tix usually from season ticket holders the night of the game on Craigslist. Or I'll use stubhub.

Go to StubHub.com, they have tix up now.

Re: NBA Tickets

Any recommendations on good seats? Looking at stubhub I was thinking perhaps section 113 or 9?

Re: NBA Tickets

I'd go with section 9 or section 102. Section 9 is really in the action, there are 2 tickets for $166 each. That's not cheap, but again you are in the action and they are the cheapest available that close. What's your budget?

I was happy to spend anywhere from $100 to $150 (although $166 is close enough). I'm not going to have many opportunities to see a NBA game so happy with $166 if they're good seats.

Thanks for the advice. Section 9 it is :)

Re: NBA Tickets

Hmmm, tickets are delivered to a US address... how the fuck do I get a hold of these. Is there not an electronic method?

Re: NBA Tickets

^My wife has a friend who lives/works in NYC. You could have them delivered to her. She's 100% trustworthy. I would make your decision soon, there were only 2 seats left in that price range anywhere near that close to the court.

Thanks man, all good. Purchased tickets and will be getting them delivered to my hotel. They only arrive a few days before the game so works out okay.

Thanks again for your help.

Re: NBA Tickets

perfect! try and post a photo from your seat! youre gonna be close. did you get section 9?

Re: NBA Tickets

Definitely will! And yes, got section 9. From a website this is the approximate viewing angle... gives you a rough idea.
