Listened to CD2 last night. Nothing really stood out, no tracks where I thought 'Wow' which I usually get from a HC album. In fact I thought it was stuck on the same song at times.
Will try CD1 tomorrow.

cd1 it's good, but a little boring to me. For that kind of low tempo house I prefer parallel cd1, or any Nick Warren's. cd2 has nice tunes. After listening to HC all weekend long, I still love his first Master Series, it's perfect in every way

Can't get into CD1, just not my style of stuff...
CD2 is pretty good, but not my favorite of his series, it's probably next to my least favorite renaissance mix CD2 of Sequential 2
I like Sequential Vol 1 as a whole probably the best, then Masters Vol 13, then Masters vol 1
but CD2 of His Masters vol 2 is my all time FAV Cattaneo mix

Looks like Renaissance underestimated the demand for this ?
I can't understand why they didn't offer exclusive releases through themselves, as Hernan has a big worldwide following + they'd make more money, and the fans get the Cds quicker.

I like both CD's. Not as good as Parallel but very close and definitely better than his 2009 compilation. It's not boring, some tracks are exceptionally good and overall it is a nice musical journey, well worth 10 or how many pounds i paid for it. 8/10.

I was really upset that I wasn't able to contribute to this conversation . This compilation to me was sheer beauty from the first note. I didn't have to listen to it any more that once to totally fall in love with it. It healed me when I was sick , made me happy when I was sad. I thought at the time it was way ahead of anything else I had ever heard and I still think that. It was almost confrontational in the immense emotions it made me feel, but it soothed my soul. I still love it and it is still very important to me It was so there when I needed it, it really was a healing experience for me. I love it so much .

I've really enjoyed every one of Cattaneo's contributions to the Renaissance series - his contributions to the Masters Series were always eagerly anticipated and got high rotation on the CD player, but the Sequential series were some of his best mixes to me.
Really liked the newest one he did - he's come a long way from the Perfecto mix comp that he did when I first heard of him.
