I say no way. Though I do think Porter is a brilliant producer. Anytime I see his name on a record I must say more often than not it gets purchased. But, you just cant compare to Sasha and Diggers. I believe for the most part this is because of where S&D came from, and what they have done almost single handidly for electronic music. I just cant see at this stage anyone being such an overwhelming influence on this genre. but thats just my opinion.

Vodka Cranberries is a wicked tune. I rode for 10 hrs to see him and I asked him to put it on he said he would and he put it on next such a cool dude. Vodka Cranberries is OMG good.
i would of said i'm a dj not a jukebox
I know i don't like doing that ever but i was drunk off of some red rum and I reall7y love that tune riding for 10hrs was worth it to hear at least that track. It was a small party and i think the people who mostly went didn't know who he was so I didn't feel too bad. :D

Porter is good but he play different music as Digweed

#207704Post 47 of 59

Loving his rhythm, great basslines in his sets, however, Sasha or Digweed? hmmm, different league imo
How is that possible since Steve Porter is better than Sasha? :D
if that wasn't such a ridiculous statement, i might have taken you seriously :FuckOff:
Take it seriously...Sasha picked the wrong person to open for him on his Airdrawndagger tour because Steve Porter outplayed him. Really obvious too. No trains came into the station early during Steve Porter's set if you know what I mean. You make it sound like no one can dethrone Sasha! Well I've got news for you bud, Jack Nicklaus thought the same thing until he met Tiger Woods. :FuckOff:

:Bingo:

He is awesome, but I prefer to not compare him to S & D.
Well u understand what I mean DreamGirlie
Is that sarcasm, lol?
Who me, nooo :Honest:
lol :YeaRight:

Well, i aint going to take your word for it, it's just clear that you have your personal tastes which happen to be in the minority, seriously, think about it, if Porter was as good as you say, how come he isn't the headliner?

steve porter is the rock store

#208136Post 52 of 59

i think he is a better producer than dj :)

#208162Post 53 of 59

Steves an amazing producer and gets bonus points for being a member of [ms]. As a DJ he's definately making name for himself but he's not up on S & D's level yet. From his recent Liberty set the guy has his own vibe and style which is to be commended.

Haven't seen him live as yet ... so hopefully Steve can get over to the UK some time.
