Gotta say that I'm blown away by what Howells has done. I dunno what the scene is like in Miami since I've never been, but this album definately has a "Miami" vibe to me. Haven't heard many GU's that managed to represent the city they're based in so well.

Anyone else hear it?

Is an OUTSTADING compilation. i love this guys work. He is truely amazing and a wonderful person when i met him back home in PUERTO RICO. I love this GU cd and so happy hes done it especially since i currently live here in Miami.

Actually, I [b]DID[/b] use the search function :roll:

Searched "Danny Howells" and I didn't see anything threads about it on the first 2 pages. I wasn't planning on going back any further cause its a pretty new CD so most threads would be pretty recent, no?

Seriously though, this GU feels so refreshing compared to the "soul-less" releases that have been coming out lately. I'm especially impressed that it's a Global Underground, cause I was beginning to think they've lost their touch.

i was interested in it from the start, as i seen the tracklist and didn't recognise anyhing but one or two names our of 30 odd. Its always disheartening when you see a "new" cd coming out with tracks you recognise on it.

This cd is just superb. Its light, dark, chunky and funky and blippy and driving and i love it.

I have to say that danny howells has probably the best choice in music, better than digweed by miles.

Its finally here!!! It came with the post this morning!! Only had a chance to hear cd 1 till now but I'm loving it, has a cool funky feeling to it.

I will check this out on the very trustworthy suggestion of my fellow [ms]'ers. I have never been too blown away but DH, but maybe the nice Florida weather has done his sound some good? I know this shitty long ass NJ winter hasn't done my sound much good, although it is nice out today. But I digress.
