Digweed liveset was a serious dissapointment.. The set lacks flow, there's no logical progression and it sounds as if he chose tracks at random and just mixed them with better or worse effect. Serously I think that Big D is losing his famous consistency - he still can spin some mindphucking shit to a devastiting effect (like he did on 27th feb show) but the majority of his recent sets lack the quality of the past.

Just my 2 cents :P

the digweed set was decent, some tracks i liked, others i coulda done without, others ([i]requiem for a hit[/i]) i am just plain tired of. same with the drama society mix, decent stuff. but im tired of [i]sweat on the walls[/i]

I liked Digweed's set @ Deisel party. Especially the first track. He played it recently too, I think it was at the Palms for that charity event back in January or maybe recently at The Mayan, dont know which but would like to know the name of that tune!

Agree that all this is not the same as 2000 or 2001 sets, but everything always changes.... Some tracks are good some suck or are just tyring, but overall Digweed always finds those rare obscure tracks one could never get a hold of and usually dont hear every other dj playing the same thing he has.

...we'll see what the 2nd hour brings next week. :)

Digweed is falling fast!! Somebody wake his ass up....

Funny he says only playing the BEST electronic music at the moment....Hate to tell ya john u aint playing the BEST anymore.....

^^ who is playing the best? Sasha? I never enjoyed Digweed live mixes a lot, maybe Beirut mix as an exception, but it was bootleged, thanks these guys. But tell me who is also doing every week mix with new tracks and have perfect guests.

To be fair, regardless what you guys think of his recent sets ( each to their own) John Digweed still one of the best DJ's out there and with 80% of the time u go out and listen to digweed it's considered a Top nite.

So please give the guy some credit
