I agree on the download and store part. I still believe some things must be preserved, though, until Clouds become more common and accepted. I see Amazon is launching a Music Server service, they accept EVERY file you want to upload to them, not just the ones you buy from the site. They still have a 256kbs limit, but that's enough if you just want to be able to access your files wherever you are.

The point is, delete them from here! But a few people still want to save them somewhere else. Two different problems, at this stage.

^Absolutely, just think about how many people would actually listen to them if they were all stream-able? Downloading mixes feels like a thing of the past frankly.

I'm still volunteering, I spent hours and hours on the artists database, I'm willing to do that too, unless Kamal & co. lost their interest (see lack of moderation in other sections) and that's a different story.

I still like to download all my mixes and save it on my own personal hdd.

The cloud is great and all... but you never know when it will all get blown to smithereens.

yes i still dl everything also, i chop/edit the majority of the sets...rare you find a full set that is excpetional from beginning to end.

I stream mixes on the commute via soundcloud. So I guess it all depends.

If it's a mix I really enjoy, then I download it.
