fuck you those who made crowd recordings
shares are something that should come from the Artist, artist + club or whatever inside those things

Re: Sasha - Live June 15, 2012, Jacksonville, Florida @ PLUSH
I absolutely will not make a crowd recording, as I don't have the equipment nor the interest to do so. I agree - shares should come from the artist, the artist+club, or whatever. I'm just saying I hope this one is released!!!!

Sorry if this post was against the rules, I have seen many threads over the years in this forum talk about the possibility of the man releasing his own sets or the possibility of a booth recording (not crowd) ... a recent thread by Hoff regarding Sasha's recent set in Thailand comes to mind [Request] Sasha @ Baba Nest Sunset Sessions 06 05 2012 | Sri panwa _ Thailand

Steady on.....if Sasha hasnt allowed any mix releases for the last 6 months then its his own fault if crowd recordings leak out....

No...will someone go and make a crowd recording please?
Re: Sasha - Live June 15, 2012, Jacksonville, Florida @ PLUSH
that is probably the worst night club I have ever been too in the US haha
Re: Sasha - Live June 15, 2012, Jacksonville, Florida @ PLUSH
ugliest women.. cheesy interior cheap interior pretty much the worst clubbing experience of my life to the point that I wouldn't even go for Sasha! I guess I shouldn't of expected a nice nightclub in Jacksonville tho haha
Re: Sasha - Live June 15, 2012, Jacksonville, Florida @ PLUSH
why he didnt just come back to kennedy to tampa....at least that venue is now somewhat respectable.
Re: Sasha - Live June 15, 2012, Jacksonville, Florida @ PLUSH
To the two newbies , one of the things on this forum is support and respect for the Djs we love. This does not include misrepresenting them by stealing /recording their sets without permission. You have no entitlement to free music whatsoever.
Re: Sasha - Live June 15, 2012, Jacksonville, Florida @ PLUSH
I agree the club was not the greatest venue, but Sasha did play very well, although he was kinda late arriving. I think it was 2:15 when he started. He was coming straight from the airport, I heard.... And then they had to pull out the Pioneer mixer and replace with his Xone DB4.
Anyway, my friends and I had a great time once Sasha went on.
Re: Sasha - Live June 15, 2012, Jacksonville, Florida @ PLUSH
Yeah I agree, it was pretty late for him to start at 2:15 ... did anyone stay until he finished? The club was kinda emptied out by the time I left at like 4.
Anyway, yeah bit dirty and not very nice club, but his opening was outstanding (like first 4-5 tracks), kinda plodded on for a while, then seemed to finish with some vocal melodic type tracks, some of which I had heard before some of which I had not. All in all probably about an average set in my opinion, perhaps above average just because of the awesome opening. I'd guess some of the opening tracks were Involver 3 type stuff.
I did take some 1-2 min or so videos here and there, would that be appropriate to post up?
Re: Sasha - Live June 15, 2012, Jacksonville, Florida @ PLUSH
I agree, the first few tracks were killer.
Re: Sasha - Live June 15, 2012, Jacksonville, Florida @ PLUSH
First track was Funky Fat @ Digitaria - You Bring Me Down
Re: Sasha - Live June 15, 2012, Jacksonville, Florida @ PLUSH
Alvy, good call!!!! I just found it on youtube and you're definitely right, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4URz88BEgI , he opened with that for sure. He went into a second track that was killer, I have a very poor like 60 sec video with it but it's so hard to make out the music you wouldn't recognize it unless you were there. I'll upload a screenshot just so people have an idea of the setup, etc:

Re: Sasha - Live June 15, 2012, Jacksonville, Florida @ PLUSH
interesting how the crowd recorded sets had been floating around recently that no once batted an eye over, now its some sort of sacrilegious offense. some people need to really get over themselves a bit here.
crowd recorded sets are really just teasers and create more interest in a particular dj. i cant believe i have to say that.
id compared a crowd recorded set on par with someone with a camera recording a bootleg movie. excpet the biggest difference is all of us cant just go to a local club everynight to see a dj we like play like we can with a movie.
is it right? im not mr morality police but is it going to hurt the djs pocket? absolutley not.
Re: Sasha - Live June 15, 2012, Jacksonville, Florida @ PLUSH
For the record (and for anyone who's interested), I'm 95% sure he opened with the following two tracks:
Confirmed other tracks: Freaky Disco - No Sleep (Teva Remix) Hot Chip - Flutes (Sasha Involv3r mix) Blond:ish - Lonely Days (Hunter Games Remix) Slam - Eterna (Digweed & Muir Remix)
Also, total set time was a little under 2 hours.
Great job, guys, on IDs for several of the tracks, he definitely played all of those!! Wish I could remember more... I probably will as time passes... if you guys remember any more too, post them up!!!! :)
Re: Sasha - Live June 15, 2012, Jacksonville, Florida @ PLUSH
i'd love to hear that pete bones set. man, that guy fell off the face of the earth. glad to see he's still going at it!
Re: Sasha - Live June 15, 2012, Jacksonville, Florida @ PLUSH
I know this quality is absolutely horrid and you can barely hear anything, but anyone who was there might remember this...
He played a track with a really awesome plodding basic bassline, and I saw tons of people recording it on their phones, and I was amazed. Really basic track but really cool. I posted up my video of it at 302 Found .... there are somewhat audible breakdowns at 0:41 and 1:25 .... anyone have ideas, despite the terrible quality?

Hey buddy. The track you are looking for he played in Miami for WMC. In the Sasha/Zabiela B2B DJ Mag Pool Party it appears at 72mins on most of the recordings (the track after Behind The Wheel and before Demon Drum). From what I can tell its still unidentified. But if you find it, post it. Sounded great in MIA and in Jax too

It's played right after Behind the Wheel remix and before Demon Drum, and I can't find an ID on it anywhere... people said on one forum that it was probably a Sasha / James Z track and perhaps will be on Involver 3, but who knows.
Again, it's at the 72 min mark on the Sasha / James Z pool party WMC set. If anyone knows an ID, chime in please!!!!!!

Yep, good catch!!! I clearly remember this being played around the middle of the second half of his set. If you recognize anything else from that recording let us know, and again, big thanks. On another note, the opening track of his set, Digitaria & Funky Fat - You Bring Me Down was released this week on Beatport at http://www.beatport.com/release/masochist-ep/918450
Re: Sasha - Live June 15, 2012, Jacksonville, Florida @ PLUSH
Nathan Barato - Sex (Bubba Adults Only Remix) was also played in my videos i took, however, i don't remember the vocal being as raunchy. Perhaps he took them out.
