What to do in Egypt?

I'll be in Egypt next month for 8 days and I'm seeking advice for sights to see and stuff to do.

In Cairo I've been told to check out The Egyptian Museum, The Saladin Citadel, Bazaars, Hanging Church, and Coptic Museum. In Giza, I've been told to see the Great Pyramids, Sphinx, and Granite Temple.

I'm also thinking of flying down to Luxor for a day or two to check out The Valley of the Kings/Queens, Hatshepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon, Luxor Temple, and Karnak Temple

Any other suggestions? [ms] always seems to be a great resource for my trips :)

just stay in certain areas, cairo is good for only a couple days to see the pyramids n museum..nile river

luxor is a must too as its packed with temples and ancient egyptian sights..

now my most beloved part of egypt is the red sea, u will have to go to sharm el sheikh or dahab....its all about the mountains and sea there, underwater is a whole nother story there....be it [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=655"]scuba[/url] diving or just even snorkeling you will have a wonderful unique experience...i personally just got back from there last week

so 8 days...2 cairo, 2 luxor and 4 in red sea will be a capture of the gems here..

Alexandria is also an important tourist resort. It is home to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (the new Library of Alexandria) ! Must see ! :Naughty:
