A lot of great mixes mentioned here but I don't think many where ground breaking. The only one that springs to mind what Oakenfold's Goa mix. You didn't really hear the use of samples from movie's, radio broadcasts and classical music put into mixes before that mix but there sure was a lot after.

This is a freaking great mix...I love the tunes @ around 22 mins for this one. Richie Hawtin is a bad ass robot sent from outer space.

^^^^ I think all of his DE9 mixes bring something interesting to the table but this one specially is out of this world. I think it was one of the first cds to break tunes in to pieces and rearrange them into new tracks

I know, Flori. It's a long story, Mark himself ruined it in the first place by using the HK albums to promote his own artists (over and over again), Fierce Angel was a commercial failure, Jason Brooks flew back to MOS, then MOS destroyed the concept once and for all. Apart maybe for the Winter Chill series. I own three Brooks' prints, I was really into it.

Vol. 1 is probably groundbraking too, but hard to find, pricer than Ren The Mix Collection. 5 is very housey and deep and opens with a great classic, Gust - Nightlife.
