Wanted to get an early count for those attending or thinking about attending. This will be the first year I can get the wife out to an Official WMC event, last year was just the tail end of Miami Music Week. Also wanted to use this opportunity to get an idea on hotels/availability/costs etc. How say you?

I will be there.. I am thinking about going for the first weekend, hopefully that is when most of the house/progressive beats will be played. Second week will be ultra I believe, not really interested. I can honestly say this event has never appealed to me whatsoever. I would love to go clubbing in Miami, but some major festival on a beach, some KFC turned into nightclub or some hotel pool with some DJ's spinning, Nah. If I go to Miami I want to experience some of their proper clubs. Ibiza this year again for me unfortunately.

WMC can be tons of fun if done right. There are people and places to avoid, but otherwise you can find some intimate venues with great crowds in a laid back atmosphere with your favorite djs at beautiful SoBe.

AMEN to that!! well said... I'm looking forward to this years events in Miami. Ibiza is NOTHING like it used to be, even Space is a bit too much like a Vegas club with bottle service and such, with that being said I still love Ibiza and will always go back. Apples and Oranges I say.

i never go off of WMC's website. there will be more announcements, but thats kinda why i created this thread because theres no one place to get all of the info, we can post it here as it becomes available.

and congrats to all the new parents this year, we are all getting old in age, not by heart. is it wierd to try to plan a pregnancy around WMC? lol

so um....

any hookups on hotels? im REALLY trying not to wait anymore than i already have. ive always wondered why north beach hotels are such a dump. so none of those, if i cant get a decent hotel in south beach then id look into somewhere close in miami, and figure out parking and transportation later.

I think most of the prog stuff is on the second week actually. Sasha and Diggers on the Saturday (separate events) and Hernan, Nick and Danny at Mynt on the Friday :)
