sorry gang if this is a repost, i tried searching. but is there any app that will allow me to record directly through an input into the iphone 4? not using the microphone... i havnt been able to find anything yet.
it doesn't need to be studio quality. im not perfect yet.

Twisted Wave will. Also I can't recommend the Tascam iM2 enough. Great sound for the price.

It does require a special cable, so you can hook up the Rec-out on a mixer to the headphone-jack of the iphone.
