I've heard him open, and i've heard him step in for a bit during Fortier's residency last year.

he can keep up the endurance of the night, tailored to how it should go. there's always my favorite bedrocky-clap-on-the-twos in the background keeping everyone dancing. he's brilliant. and his remixes...deeeeelicious. Love his KISS mix. I gave that to a friend of mine in a selection of some good dance/music. The mix never gets into higher bpms. it's really uplifting, good to any ear (trained or not) and it's up there as one of my favorite houseparty guest mixes lately. Next Friday should be one of the best nights for New York, progressivewise. With Cusick&Three @ Cellar Bar and Sander to close it out @ Crobar.

What I hate about the door...they will barely let guys in unless you have at least two women per men. I hate playing dress-up...especially when I know the promoter and I've never once seen him dressed in anything but jeans and a t-shirt...I hate the crowd it brings, personally I'd prefer a more musically knowledgeable crowd, rather than the seen and be seen crowd they bring (especially considering the quality of djs that Andy's brought to cellar bar).
and I haven't even gotten to the price of drinks...ridiculously expensive even for Manhattan standards!

As previously stated, he was resident DJ @ Twilo, and being that he often had to open up for Sasha & Digweed, that is a pretty serious role to play for at the time, 2 of the biggest DJ's at the #1 club in North America (and maybe the world)
All in all, he rocks :)

I only started liking this cat this year. His kiss was dope and some satellite set I have, guessing from carellis crew or some shit, is really good too. I listen to it pretty frequently. I would defintely check him out. The one thing I don't like is him being referred to as q6... that is just lame imo

I think it has something to do with him signing cusick over to a lawyer by misstake... this is a guess tho
cuz he went on a huge rant one time on his xpander column about how don't sign anything over to a laywer (forgot the specifics) and i always assumed he lost full rights of cusick so started releasing under q6

He's great and rocks, but he wasnt "resident DJ" @ twilo... residencies and occaisonal openers are different... Not discounting him at all, but clearing things up a bit. he had a residency as an opener, but I don't remember him ever being billed as such...? I hope this post doesn't sound bitchy,,,

he's one of my favorites. he's inspiring, witty, and clever with a diverse music passion which sets him apart.
he also buys a round for everyone in the club. but that's on rare happy sean occassions. :p

sean is one great guy....true passion for music and often have conversations with him that go above and beyond the usual "nod your head every couple of minutes" banter that often goes on in clubs....
and he still makes some twisted ass music. a rarity nowadays. he's not afraid to make what he loves.
