No doubt its sad to see him go but...that said he was no evangelical creature. He was flesh and blood and prone to mistakes just like any other guy. If you really want to know something about him read about where the start up money came...interesting story not often talked about.

I don't think anyone claims that he was evangelical. No one is perfect, he didn't claim to be. But he was someone who achieved amazing things and one of the very few who really did change the way things happen in this world. Not all of which I am happy with :lol: But hey, you take the great with the not so good sometimes. :)

Thing is Dom, every time we respond we are playing the game. I'm doing it right now, and a thread that should be a mark of respect to someone very recently passed on, becomes athread about a member of this forum (yet again). Exactly what the guy wants i'm sure, how very sad.
I'm sure this thread will attract as many new members to the site as last week's con trick where Kamal had to refund donors who'd been scammed.

So I should get banned for telling the truth ?? Jobs owns a company that is the worst company in the world to work for. He claims to be a humanitarian yet people working at his plants are jumping off of the buillding so they can collect $10,000 (10 years worth of work working at Apple).. That is pretty sad. I feel bad for a lot of you that are so torn up about this guy dying.

I'm not arguing the subject matter in Rm's post because we all know they are purely to do what he has done here, troll!! well i guess the media is making jobs out to be alot nicer then i thought....i dont really know much about him or his history but just watched an old movie from 1999 on tbs called pirates of silicon valley...and they sure make jobs out to be a slave driver and jerk who degrades and puts down his staff, makes them work 90+hours a week and shows him never in his young daughters life....its a movie so who knows what is truth or not.. but regardless RM choice of words was still very inappropriate.

^^ I saw an interview with his biographer who has known him for the last thirty years and,as is usually the case, Steve Jobs was a combination of all those things. We need to be big enough to see the complete picture.
