What I saw when I looked at your dog was a beautiful intelligent dog who as puppy went through surgery that required a general anaesthetic, and some die when it is done. Then for his ears to be taped or in plaster for up to months!! For what ?? Because we humans want him to look fierce ?? We breed them with shorter noses so they can't breath properly, we inbreed them for a particular colour, which condemns them to issues that have never even been thought of .!! I have had personal experience with this one! We breed them to change the shape of their ears so they don't function properly any more. And if that doesn't work we take a knife to them !!

These are the animals that love us.!!

I am very happy that my country , and a lot of others around the world ,have made these mutilations illegal.

Also Dobe's ears need to be clipped for hygiene. Since Dobe's are a mix of a bunch of breeds their ears are abnormally to big for them. They get really bad ear infections if you don't. It isn't just for aesthetics.

All dogs need their ears cleaned from time to time , it's part of living in the world we created. Myself, and obviously governments around the world, think that surgery is just a tad drastic to save us a little inconvenience.
