agreed... I listened to this mix tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it... there were some choice tracks he used!
i'll bet James' sound will not change direction with Live. if anything it'll give him that missing third hand he always complains about =)
Probably the most listenable set i ever heard from him, glad to hear none of that inane scratching he does. wouldn't play it again though.
is it the same set he played last week on digweed's transitions show?

looking forward to hearing this, although for me, I'm not sure I'll ever be able to divorce in my mind the idea of dj'ing from -- at some level -- the spinning of records. havent seen sasha use his ableton getup live yet, so maybe i should reserve judgment until i see it in action.

ableton (and software like it) will slowly take over. in the end there shall be a box that does it all, and the dj's creativity and setlist will be the most important thing.
