^^^ Yay !! :Respect: I'm actually a bit cool on the idea of a structured relationship between those agencies and Facebook. But I think we would be crazy not to know there would be a widespread use of Facebook by them. How much stuff on Facebook is real though. ?? And it will be influencing everyone. The potential for error in the face recognition thing is mind blowing.

Re: Infowars Reporter Warned Not To Use Facebook For Political Viewpoints

Facebook and twitter both have been responsible for some enormous cultural and political upheavals, so it's not all bad kiddos.

#1544454Post 7 of 29

Re: Infowars Reporter Warned Not To Use Facebook For Political Viewpoints

None of those enormous cultural and political upheavals have actually come to a satisfactory conclusion yet.

Re: Infowars Reporter Warned Not To Use Facebook For Political Viewpoints

So Facebook didn't mind people posting happy slapping videos or allowing people to post disgusting comments on peoples remembrance pages but politics NO. kind of reminds me of another site I know

Maybe someone should tell Facebook the internet Tis not for them

Re:

What a crock of sh#t! I see political & religious based comments on a daily basis that are posted on Facebook. Alex Jones, himself, does this all the time. Perhaps I should post a list of the Alien Reptoids that are secretly serving in the govt. :p
No wonder I laugh at this...because it's always the CIA.
I find that cia thing funny most of the time, but it would have been incredibly smart for the cia to invest in facebook !! Oh, wait....

Re: Infowars Reporter Warned Not To Use Facebook For Political Viewpoints

What do you need the CIA for on Facebook? Everyone posts everything they are doing so they can tell their friends whats going on! :D Thanks to FB now it seems more the norm to share everything you do in live and privacy is not the norm...strange imo.

Re: Infowars Reporter Warned Not To Use Facebook For Political Viewpoints

What I meant was , invest to make sure it grows and then just sit back and collect info. This facial recognition thing makes their job even easier !!

In fact why do you need the cia when you have Facebook ??

Details are emerging of a new privacy issue for the users of social networking giant Facebook:
FACEBOOK is facing its most serious privacy issue to date, with claims that it is collecting user's information after they have logged out.
The issue, raised by Australian born blogger Nik Cubrilovic, has sparked a major privacy debate on the internet overnight, and follows Cubrilovic’s demonstration on his blog of Facebook keeping its browser cookies active after a user has logged out of the social network.

“Logging out of Facebook only de-authorizes your browser from the web application, a number of cookies (including your account number) are still sent along to all requests to facebook.com,” Cubrilovic’s blog says. “Even if you are logged out, Facebook still knows and can track every page you visit. The only solution is to delete every Facebook cookie in your browser, or to use a separate browser for Facebook interactions.” In his blog, Cubrilovic demonstrates that a cookie with his Facebook ID is still active, even when he is logged out.
