how much are you looking to spend a month? i live in south tampa,about 40-50 minutes from temple terrace.. 1bed/1barh are around 650.00 around here, but they are nice, and the area is really nice. a bit pretentious at times, but those are the people that are fun to laugh at.

Lutz is nice and quiet. away from the city and hussle if thats what you're after. this is just north of Tampa and still in Hillsborough County. pronounced 'Lootz'

i'm afraid NE Tampa is a dump. college kids and crime. if you dont mind the commute check out the Carrollwood section of Tampa (dale mabry & fletcher area)
