It’s [B]Sasha[/B] updates aplenty here at Mixmag HQ. Firstly, we wanted to bring details of his [B]brand new single[/B] – with a vocal no less! – to your attention. An epic, intricate return to the dance-floor, ‘Cut Me Down’ was the bi-product of this year’s IMS Conference in Ibiza where [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=5"]Sasha[/url] created the [B]2011 IMS Anthem[/B] in conjunction with Burn Studios.
The track was then remixed and debuted at a second session with [B]Layo & Bushwacka![/B] Featuring the haunting vocals of New York based Swedish vocalist Krister Linder over a [B]brilliant blend of mind-bending drums[/B], the release marks a return for [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=5"]Sasha[/url] in solo production mode and will be released on Last Night On Earth, Sasha’s new imprint for new solo productions and emerging talent. The single is out this week. Secondly, we’re proud to announce that [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=5"]Sasha[/url] is currently at work for his [B]first-ever Mixmag cover-mount CD[/B], and we’re equally proud that he’s chosen this magazine to collaborate with. The track-listing is strictly under wraps for now – but we can confirm that [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=5"]Sasha[/url] is currently at work making special edits of all the tracks in the mix and he’s been digging deep with labels like DFA and Kompakt.
