I think the only thing I would find annoying about his message is the tittle. I think they would have been better saying "An Apology From Danny Howells About Tonight's Cancellation" and what's the exciting news? He's coming back at some point in the future to do the job he was unable to do this time. Or the party is still on even though the headliner isn't playing. Neither are what I would call exciting. I assume the promoter wrote the tittle.

People get sick, and I never think the air con on planes and change in climates helps - everyone in my office seems to come back with a cold or bug after travelling ! So I'd expect most DJ's to fall unwell at some stage. Also DH isn't getting any younger, so it could be something else - people should respect his privacy.

Of course, if its just a case of a trip down the clap clinic after pulling a groupy with a few miles on the clock then Running Man has my sympathy. Otherwise, while its always regrettable when there's a no-show the thread title is disrespectful.

lol at this thread.... maybe in his younger years I could have taken this as a lame excuse from a previous night of debauchery but danny has grown to be one of the most professional outstanding djs that the circuit has to offer.

Its a fact RM djs miss gigs all the time , besides being ill , loosing your passport or having flight cancellations due to weather conditions it's something that happens ..... ofcourse there is always the doubt of an irresponsible dj like one of my local dj buddies here .... he was supposed to play 6 sets at burning man last year... but he only managed to play 2 because he was so fucked up the whole trip he couldnt even remember his name ... Anyhow , Im sure danny will make up for it somehow . he is that kind of a bloke . 8)

Missing gigs is unacceptable when you are making the money these guys are making. I know it happens but when it does it is so not cool. Will he ever come back to Windsor? Doubt it.
