I'm not exactly new...some of you may have seen me post here and there before. But I figured that since I've been coming here on a regular basis since I signed up, I'd create a thread. Unlike other forums where I'd sign up to post a couple of times and then just forget about it, this place actually seems pretty cool; reminds me of the old-skool Tranceaddict Forums days (where I'm a vet). Only difference is that here, people have way better taste in music :P

Anyways, I started out listening to Trance like Tiesto, PvD, AvB and co. way back in 2000...but it wasn't until 2002 when I smoked a phat joint with a good friend of mine, and lost myself in Digweed's MMII and Satoshi Tomiie's Nubreed006. The transition was almost day-night. One day I'm downloading sets by the "trance gods" and the next I'm groovin to the dirty beats of Sander K, Satoshi Tomiie, Digweed, and so forth, all while catching up on the decade of progressive house music that I've missed out on. Haven't looked back since.

Just to give you an idea of my tastes, these are my all-time fav CD's: Sasha & Digweed: Northern Exposure I & II GU009 San Fran: Sasha (especially CD1!!) GU013 Ibiza: Sasha (again, CD1) Digweeds MMII Lee Burridge & Craig Richards' Tyrant 2 (house music at it's absolute best, imo) Nubreed005: Lee Burridge Nubreed006: Satoshi Tomiie

Cheers!

Yeah MMII loses its way a little for me. First 4 tunes are brilliant though.

All time fav? would have to be NE 2 Westcoast

Hey!! My first 2 Prog albums were Degweed's MMII and Satoshi Tomiie's Nubreed006. I kinda fell in love with when it came out.

While I do agree: MMII holds a special place in my heart for the fact that it was the CD responsible for my change in taste. If I were to say which CD's are best put together from beginning to end, then I wouldn't put MMII in my list to be honest :)

Heheh, I've seen the light, and I prefer the darkness
