Does anyone know of any online track ID app that would be able to ID tracks similar to how Shazam works on mobile phones ??

I haven't come across any as of yet... I usually just post IDs in the discogs forums, livesets.com forums, RA forums, or search comments on soundcloud.com

I think that MusicBrainz and Picard do identification by audio fingerprinting of tracks, but I guess you need the whole thing for that, so not quite shazam......

The Echoprint project has come along and looks promising. I haven't had a chance to play with the API yet though.
