cripes how time flies. i picked up that mix back when i was in college and super big time into everything s+d did and went to their shows in chicago as much as possible. still some great tunes on that mix.:RightOn:

I remember being so excite the local cd shop next to LSU had this cd in stock and on the shelves a few days before the actual release. Loved this comp., it's definitely stood the test of time in my book. I'm going to listen to it tomorrow at work.

That's awesome I just jammed disc one the other night. I remember it like it was yesterday we left Orlando at 830 am to get to Gainesville and go to the mall to buy the communicate cd cause we were driving to Atlanta to see DIGWEED at some club can't remember it but it was a Tuesday night amazing stuff think he played 4 hrs, but I got him to sign my cd sleeve.

I always thought this CD was an anti climax at the time. Like every body else I was stoked for it's release, but I thought then that it just sounded too slick for my liking, and it did have a lot of 'massive' tunes on it from that era.

There are some great parts to it though:

• mix from Jaimy & Kenny D into Eric Clapton
• [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=38"]The Orb[/url] into ECIPS
• Mainline-Narcotic

Honestly I liked Expeditions more. The mix from [URL="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=527"]Der Dritte Raum[/URL] / Pure Friction's Groove / Red Devil / RR Workshop is some of the most ass kicking buildup mix from Diggers ever IMO. :AssKicki:

The CD was a great snapshot of 2000, there where loads of great releases that year, Seaman's Renassance, Howells Nocturnal Frequency's, + most of the GU's & [URL="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=1209"]Nubreed[/URL]'s. I would be hard pushed to say one was better then the other.
