Hate to be negative but George Acosta or who ever opened for [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=5"]Sasha[/url] totally thought he was the main dj bangin it out, peak ti e stuff told my buddy it feels like 5am. This dude said to me man I've never been so bored thought it was just me. Torture for 2.5 hours this guy wears his headphones on his forehead he might be in a gang lol. But [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=5"]Sasha[/url] only played 2.5hrs played pretty good the last few tracks were off the wall totally wacked out never expecited it..". spotted kings of exile and two others he ended with cut me down, sounded ok live. Enjoyed sashas stuff non the less rather short only took one vid will put p when I get home.

I couldn't believe it when my friend told me George Acosta was opening for [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=5"]Sasha[/url]. What dipstick thought of that lineup? Glad I didn't bother making the trip for that event. I don't like getting "Accosted" on the dancefloor. ;)

These days if you get 3 hours you're lucky - although he did play 6 at Stereo apparently. It may depend on his mood and level of partying etc.

I wouldn't want to have to smell the DJ booth after George Acosta had just left a turd. I'm surprised Sasha played at all.

Sasha has not been using Ableton Live for his gigs for almost 2 years now. He was an early adopter of the Pioneer CDJ-2000s. At first he was using the Rekordbox software, but more recently he has been using Traktor Pro 2 along with the CDJ-2000s as HID controllers, and a pair of Kontrol X1 controllers.

Bottom line, though.... why would Space book George Acosta to play with [URL="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=5"]Sasha[/URL], especially before him? Just doesn't make any sense in terms of logical flow of a club night.

The opening Dj was really terrible ruined a good part of the night. [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=5"]Sasha[/url] was ok nothing to write home about ended up leaving at 4:30 and our friends told us that the opening DJ played again once [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=5"]Sasha[/url] was done. George did not play that night it was Edgar V and I guess he is a new Space resident as well. This place is ripe with shitty DJs that are playing in some high visibility spots. It is all about who you know though.

I'm very glad I didn't make the trip down. There is nothing worse than going to see a DJ you like and to have the entire night ruined by a poor opener. I swear, it amazes me how few DJs understand the importance of the opening role.... and furthermore, understand a logical progression for the vibe through the night.
