i have a 180gig hd and an 80 gig hd and i run out of space alot, but i burn dvd's of mp3s when i run out of space and index all of them with MAC [url]http://mac.sourceforge.net/[/url] which helps alot

Got around 200 vinyls......just download and delete.....keep only the ones i listen rest are useless space.

maxtor is junk, i've had a really bad experience with a maxtor, almost lost 250 gigs of live sets, I wasnt a happy camper, but thanks to this program I found I was able to recover all the info from the drive. I've been a Seagate fan since

I let iTunes do a more accurate count and it seems that ATM I have 11426 songs that take up 216 GB of space and will play for 119 days before repeating. Not done yet though, I still have several hundred cd's to sort thru.

with all my mp3 media and cds I got about 3000 titles maybe more I never count it but I got a nice music collection, unfortunedly I can't share it all cause iI don't have enough space on my hard disc, so I'm always back upping my music.

I just decided to clean up my desktop and I had 22g just there :lol: and it's not that long since I tidied. Definitely need another harddrive.!!

I just got a bunch of new cds in the mails too. Luke Slater - Fabric, Stephan Bodzin - Systematic Colors, Wighomy Brothers - Remikks Potpourri, Alex Smoke - Hi Fi vol 3, James Holden - Idiots are Winning, plus a bunch of older cds for the collection. I'm up to about 300 store bought albums now.

Anyway maybe someone could helpme to find a strong way to get more house files, because I can't find out a good program, sharing, or community to get more and rare files...

i'm sitting on about 1.95 TB right now, in the process of transferring all the shit i had burned on cds back to my file server so it's all in one place. next up, ripping about 16,000 records, which is going to take probably until i'm oh, i would say 57

mmm let me see, its not that much, I lost almost all my music since a my little nephew got in my computer, so now I have about 13.7 gigs and a like 50 cds

At least 2 tb, probably more and all doubled on externals for that dreading crash

I got a a very nice sized box filled with 700 MB CDs filled with MP3s, too much too count, but i would say near 100-150 cds filled with MP3s .... you can do the math.

@ djbrianc, I feel ya man. I am in the process of uploading all of my back catalog of downloaded music onto some drives on my server so that I can finally have everything cataloged and accessible. This thing is going to be huge and will probably be done within a week of your 57th birthday.
