Jus-Ed will release his next album, Vision Dance, this August on Mule Electronic.
Ed McKeithen is a man of many talents: producer, DJ, label manager, radio host and occasional MC, not to mention father, husband and part-time landscaper. While maintaining a presence in his local music scene, he's also become a globetrotting DJ, with dozens of international gigs each year and a series at Berlin's Tape Club (The Jam Session). Some of the tracks on [I]Vision Dance[/I] were inspired by his recent travels, while others have been kicking around since as early as 2006 ("This Shit is Hot Re-Scrub"). All are previously unreleased.
[I]Vision Dance[/I] will be Ed's first album to come out on a label other than his own Underground Quality. Stylistically, it's all about stripped down deep house for the dance floor. Fans of Ed's trademark croon might be a bit disappointed: all of the tracks are instrumental.
