#341033Post 4 of 40

#341057Post 5 of 40

^^ yeah, if I had to drive 40', I would go definitaly. But it's at least 2 hours driving for me

Anyway, Holden will make that good. That's half an hour driving

#341062Post 6 of 40

40' = 40 minutes Jib. So it's not that far.

I really wanna see Howells again. That's for sure!

now where is this club? How far from Brussels?

I'll be in Brussels that weekend and I'm looking for some clubnights to hit. So if anyone knows of anything else going on that weekend in or around Brussels, please let me know :)

#341516Post 8 of 40

This club is pretty far off from Brussels. Maybe an hour and a half drive.

Maybe this is more to your liking and it's at Fuse in Brussels so you won't have to go that far. Hell, even I might drop in.

DAVE CLARKE - JAN VAN BIESEN vs. T-QUEST

fuse level : Deg, Dave Clarke, Pierre

motion level : Jan Van Biesen vs. T-Quest

after 00h: 10 ?

Another one for ya @ Silo, Leuven, which isn't that far from Brussels, if you're in a housey kinda mood.

Why go see JVB or T-Quest if you can have Howells? Only Dave Clarke is woth mentioning.

-Psynce-

#341601Post 10 of 40

thanks for the suggestions. Dave Clarke is one I've wanted to see for a while and fuse is a place I've wanted to go, but alas I highly doubt my wife would even consider a techno night. As for the Silo lineup, I may even be able to pull that one off. She's heard of Etienne and likes em and Gerald kicked some serious ass the two times I'd seen him...voodoo ray! 8)

But here's what I continue to find so weird and maybe it has to do with being from the states...a 1-1/2 drive isn't that "far" to me as everyone suggests. Hell, I'd been driving that far since I was in high school just to go out for a night in NYC or Philadelphia and for nothing special. The US just has a totally different take on distance...

While on that subject, how far is antwerp from brussels?

#341611Post 11 of 40

Not that far, maybe half an hour, forty minutes worth of driving, but mind you that Antwerp is only great in the mind of people from Antwerp. ;)

You can cross Belgium in three hours, so we have a different perspective on distance as opposed to you guys over in the states.

Yet another one, mind the rather strict dresscode in caf? though.

Don't know in miles but I think about 40 minutes.

Let me see if I can find howmany miles it would be from the Airport to Barocco.

#341644Post 14 of 40

I'm sorry, but I just find distance there amusing. My wife's friend, who we'll be staying by in Brussels, said that Antwerp was too far to go to...I never knew 40 minutes in a car could be that hard. You Belgians need to get out more!

Hell this past Sunday, we drove to Philadelphia (about 2 hours away from NYC) just to get the best cheesesteaks in the world! :D

#341647Post 15 of 40

Why apologize, it's merely an observation. Hehe.

I only have trouble comprehending the concept of cheesesteaks. Who in their right minds would form a combo of cheese and steak.

#341698Post 16 of 40

Have you tried one? It's double the grease and such good tastes altogether. But honestly, I've never had a great one aside from in Philly...there must be something in the water! Mmmmm, philly cheesesteaks........

#341708Post 17 of 40

Well no, but I did have the grossest cheeseburger ever to grace the northern hemisphere in San Diego. I had the distinct impression it was still mooing at me and it was the size of a decent steak.

#344772Post 18 of 40

I'm coming for sure 8) Don't wanna miss this

#344794Post 19 of 40

I'd love to go to but there need to be others to come aswell... !

-Psynce-

#344875Post 20 of 40

It's a long distance but I think I'll do the effort :D

#344879Post 21 of 40

would love to, but it's to far!!!!

#344918Post 22 of 40

Olli, you guys wouldn't happen to have an extra seat in the car would you?

#344919Post 23 of 40

:D Als ik rij mag je zeker mee :P

#344923Post 24 of 40

Tnx, bro, seeind as i'll prolly be designated driver for the Holden event for my buds, I really objected to being the same for Howells. If I can tag along that would be great and it would provide me with the opportunity to consume a decent amount of alcohol. :D

#344932Post 25 of 40

I start doubting as well to do the distance ... because I love driving my new car

#344953Post 26 of 40

^^ Cmon Gloomy, head over to Barocco. We could finaly meet. The girl and I would like it. :)

I don't know yet, but I guess I won't ...

#354032Post 33 of 40

Fuck that! why not man? I wanna meet as much people as possible from [MS]

-Psynce-

#354227Post 34 of 40

Present :) It's only 2 minutes from where I live! It's +/- 1hour from Brussel... Last night Barocco's guest was Tom Stephan! Barocco is becoming one of the best clubs in Belgium imo..

#354243Post 35 of 40

with one of the worst locations in Belgium, but I guess that's mainly in the eye of the beholder. The problem isn't driving there, it's driving back at 7 or 8 am. :)

#354287Post 36 of 40

Cmon man... just come on over! :)

-Psynce-

#355193Post 37 of 40

We're prolly gonna go to Kosmas Epsilon @ The Hague the next day. An even further drive since I don't have to drive and there's a bigger chance we'll see Howells again in Belgium as opposed to Kosmas Epsilon.

#365293Post 38 of 40

So did anyone actually make it to this? How was it? curious for a review...

#365839Post 39 of 40

^^ It was great man! He started it off with his tech-housish sound and ended with banging techno. He's a master in building his set.

I had a good one!
